We invite you to join us for a very special and intimate wine dinner featuring Franco Pasetti, owner and winemaker of the Contesa estate in Abruzzo for what promises a memorable evening of food, wine and stories that will transport you to Italy’s Adriatic coast.
The Contesa estate lies in the heart of Collecorvino, overlooking the sea from the hills just inland from Pescara. The Pasetti family has farmed this land for generations, and under Franco’s leadership, the winery has become one of the region’s hidden gems—blending tradition with precision farming, native varietals, and a deep connection to terroir. The cellar, hand-carved into the hillside, houses wines that are expressive, elegant, and unmistakably Abruzzese.
Over the course of the evening, we’ll taste through Contesa’s most iconic selections—including Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Pecorino, Trebbiano, and Cerasuolo—each offering a unique glimpse into the soil, sun, and sea breezes that shape these wines. Franco will personally guide us through the lineup, sharing insights into his winemaking philosophy and stories from his life in the vineyards.
