Luis Pato Vinha Formal Branco, 1990
Fruit from sandy soils and originally fermented in new oak. Powerful and spicy with marmalade, herbs and apricot. Very intense in color and aroma; still alive with some spicy citrus notes. Quite beautiful.

Full yellow/gold character. Toast, spice and nuts with crystalline citrus, lovely depth, and good acidity. Nice weight with some development, and some savory detail. Toasted lemon peel on the finish.

Luis Pato Quinta Ribierinho Branco, 2021
A single vineyard, medium body wine, barrel fermented and aged for 6 months in 500L barrels. Great acidity with lemon, grapefruit and grassy notes now, but if you can hang on to it, there's certainly more development on the horizon!
