2023 Domaine Nathalie & Gilles Fevre Chablis 1er Cru Fourchaume
The 2023 shares an overall profile of the 2022 but has more depth and weight to it: white flower, lemon-y citrus, and a candied / caramel tint rush from the glass but the overwhelming sensation out of the gate here is freshness... and energy! As is typical, the palate follows with similar notes and a gorgeous texture - more broad than the nose might lead on but no noticeable fat to be trimmed. Beautifully bright acidity and minerality kick across the line and provide a lip-smacking finish.
