2020 Domaine Louis Boillot Moulin a Vent Les Rouchaux

"The pink granite soils of les Rouchaux have turned out a lovely wine chez Boillot in 2020. The complex nose wafts from the glass in a beautiful blend of black cherries, sweet dark berries, bonfire, game bird, espresso, a hint of fresh herb tones and a complex base of soil tones. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and focused, with a lovely core of black fruit, fine soil signature, moderate tannins and excellent balance and grip on the long, complex and very classy finish. This will need a few years in the cellar to truly start to drink with generosity. 2025-2060+"
