If I’m being completely honest, I sometimes find this category a little flabby in style but Domaine Charles Audoin’s 2020 release is SO FREAKING CHISELED AND LEAN AND FRESH with just a laser beam of acidity. It’s a totally gorgeous bottle of wine.
The 2020 Marsannay Cuvée Charlie Blanc wafts from the glass with notes of peach, orange zest, lemon oil, freshly baked bread and nutmeg. Medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with racy acids but a fleshy, open, expressive profile, it's already showing well. -Parker's Wine Advocate
