2022 Alary Cairanne Blanc 'La Jean de Verde'

The palate does not disappoint - that same complexity found on the nose carries over during tasting: stone fruits and bright acidity prevail, with a complement of white florals and that telltale ​S​outhern Rhone texture.  ​But beyond anything the length of this wine is what really stands out - the 45 seconds measured on the finish and might be underestimate.  It's simultaneously refreshing and luxurious, touching both sides of the spectrum like the tuxedo t-shirt does for fashion.  Layered with complexity and nuance from first sniff to ​i​ts long​, enduring finish​.  This is a bonafide banger that checks all the boxes and makes all the correct turns - definitely not something you can say for most wines at this price point.
