2019 Albert Mann Pinot Noir Les Saintes Claires
Alsace Pinot is like a cross between Burgundy and Oregon. You have the acidity and freshness of Burgundy coupled with a rich, dark fruit profile similar to what you find in Willamette. These are still light wines, well under 14% ABV. Albert Mann’s Les Saintes Claires is truly the crème de la crème when it comes to Alsace. While the region does churn out some very tasty Pinots, nothing reaches this level of pedigree.
