2021 Denis Carré Meursault Les Tillets

We were given 10 cases of absolutely laser-focused, chalky, old-vine TO DIE FOR Meursault from Les Tillets. It’s a a lieu dit on the very top of the appellation's Southeast facing slope as well as at the top of most collectors' wish lists. 

Nowhere in the Côte de Beaune does the Chardonnay grape do better than it does here. There’s so much going on - a bright nose with an energetic vibrancy. Aromatics of floral and zesty notes of lime finished with salinity. It’s a very seductive and structured wine with a tantalizing chalky intricate mouthfeel and a super long finish. A true MUST-HAVE.
