14 wines and 5 course tasting menu | $850 per person
Join us for an in-depth retrospective dinner of winemaker Fabio Allesandria's brilliant Piemonte wines, including a stunning lineup of Baroli–Monvigliero, Cannubi, and Acclivi back to 2004. Paired alongside a tantilizing seasonal menu from our culinary team, this is a true can't-miss event for any lover of fine wine.
Much has changed in the near-century since G.B. Burlotto passed away and left his village of Verduno (not to mention the entirety of Barolo) without one of its original champions. The region's best wines are now recognized alongside those from Burgundy and Bordeaux as pinnacle achievements of undeniable value and winemaking methods have modernized.
But Fabio Allesandria, G.B. Burlotto's great-great-grandson, has eschewed the trappings of modernity in favor of tradition. All grapes are crushed by foot in the winery. Maceration for the Baroli lasts for an incredible 60-days. Only large, neutral botte are used. The result? Magnificence in a bottle.
