In Piemonte the word 'terroir' holds real substance. Soil and exposition differences are clearly translated by the Nebbiolo grape variety, allowing us to experience the magic of the region each time we open a bottle. Without overbearing extraction, there is an almost pinot-esque quality to this gorgeously colored, pale red rose Barbaresco. Ethereal aromas of pure rose petal and briary fruit abound. The palate brings raspberry, pitted cherry, and a touch of fine herbs. Drinkable now, but will improve with a few years of cellaring...if you can wait. SUPERB QUALITY!
