2020 Chateau Le Tertre-Roteboeuf

"Another absolutely perfect wine in this incredible vintage, the 2020 Chateau Tertre Rotebouef comes from a tiny hillside vineyard (5.6 hectares) and is 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc raised all in new Radoux barrels. This show stopping wine has everything and reveals a dense purple hue, incredible aromatics of cassis, vanilla bean, burning embers, graphite, smoke and tobacco, full-bodied richness, flawless integration of its tannins and acidity, and a massive finish. The finest wine I've ever tasted from this address. It's not going to hit maturity for another 7-8 years and will be a 30+ year wine. Hats off to the team of Francois Mitjavile for another singular, sexy, absolutely off-the-charts wine." -100 POINTS, JEB DUNNUCK

2020 Roc de Cambes Cotes de Bourg

Another absolute gem of a wine is the 2020 Roc de Cambes, which is mostly Merlot from vines just next to the Domaines de Cambes vineyards. Black cherries, plums, black raspberries, vanilla bean, camphor and graphite are just some of the nuances, and this concentrated, singular, medium to full-bodied beauty is going to offer tons of pleasure over the coming 15 years as well. -95 POINTS, JEB DUNNUCK

2020 Domaine de Cambes Bordeaux

Coming from the Cotes-de-Bourg appellation on the Right Bank and an estate owned by the Mitjavile family of Le Tertre-Roteboeuf, the 2020 Domaine de Cambes is another beautiful wine from this team that has a singular style. Redcurrants, plums, mulled cherries, spicy oak, cigar and chocolate notes define the bouquet and it's medium to full-bodied, with supple, soft tannins and a great finish. It's a softer, more approachable wine compared to the structured Roc de Cambes, although both are brilliant wines. -93 POINTS, JEB DUNNUCK
