2021 Guy Bocard Aligote Les Chanterelles
Admittedly, I hesitated to even taste this one since most Aligote I find to be either too flabby or too thin and never show a ton of personality. I’m so glad I was talked into tasting this though, because it was NOTHING LIKE the Aligote I’ve tried. Super showy and energetic with perfect harmony. It flashes that unmistakable Burgundian palate with a touch of creamy and loads of minerality with a nice, fresh finish to seal it.
