1988 Leflaive and Rousseau - A One-Night Stand

14 Wines - Five Course Seated Plated Regionally Inspired Tasting
No offense to my parents, but I am not the product of a wild night in 1988 between Armand Rousseau and Olivier Leflaive. Thank goodness because Armand had been dead for nearly 30 years and Olivier was probably not yet virile. 1988 is a truly phenomenal vintage in Burgundy in a perfect drinking window and this is a hedonistic night of absolute classics. The wines speak for themselves for those who are listening and we have a few cool blind wines to add to the mix.
